A Vietnam-UAE Business Dialogue Forum held during Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's working visit to the UAE, which ended on October 30, focused on enhancing labor cooperation between the two countries.

The forum, attended by representatives from major UAE corporations and Vietnamese labor export companies, aimed to facilitate the deployment of Vietnamese workers to the UAE. Discussions centered on labor demand, worker qualifications, working conditions, income, and other relevant issues.

At the forum, Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung emphasized the significant potential of the UAE labor market for Vietnamese workers. He highlighted the opportunity for Vietnamese workers to gain valuable experience, improve their skills, and earn competitive incomes.

To streamline the labor export process and create a favorable environment for both countries, the two sides agreed to minimize administrative procedures and expedite the necessary paperwork.

Currently, approximately 4,500 Vietnamese workers are employed in the UAE, primarily in construction, mechanics, hospitality, and beauty care sectors.
