Vietnam Blockchain Association and Da Nang to cooperate in developign fintech for financial center

The People’s Committee of Da Nang and the Blockchain Vietnam Association (VBA) signed a cooperation agreement on January 16 to develop an international financial center in the central city.

Under the agreement, the VBA will support Da Nang to study and propose mechanisms to promote the development of financial technology (fintech) and Blockchain at the financial center.

The association will also provide support in human resources training relating to Blockchain and AI.

Meanwhile, the provincial People’s Committee will direct local departments and agencies to create conditions for the VBA to study issues relating to the construction of the financial center.

The development of the financial center in Da Nang should focus on the field of fintech such as payment technology, insurance technology, obligation technology, asset management, cyber security and Blockchain, according to VBA Chairman Phan Duc Trung.
