Vietnam, Poland sign labor cooperation agreement
The agreement aimed at improving human resources quality.
Vietnam and Poland have signed an agreement to promote cooperation in the field labor and social affairs, opening up more opportunities for Vietnamese workers.
The agreement was signed by Vietnamese Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung and Polish Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk on January 16, on the occasion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s visit to Poland.
Under the agreement, the two countries will expand cooperation in development of policies to support vulnerable groups in the labor market, vocational training, migrated labor management, social security, and development of retirement system.
The agreement is aimed at improving the human resources quality and increasing income for workers.
There are 46 businesses so far licensed to send Vietnamese workers to Poland. Since 2015, over 3,200 workers have been sent to Poland to work.
