Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signed Prime Ministerial Decision No 374/QD-TTg on February 19, approving a project on developing  networks of outstanding training centers to provide talents in technology 4.0 by 2030.

The project aims to establish at least one or two networks of such centers in each priority technology sector of Industry 4.0.

Specifically, at least two or three networks of such centers will be formed in the northern,  central, and southern regions of the country to provide talents in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, semiconductor industry, and biotechnology.

The goal is to attract for each network at least 100 talented scientists and experts who are overseas Vietnamese and foreigners to participate in teaching and scientific research in higher education institutions in Vietnam.

Accordingly, the project outlines 4 tasks:

First, researching, reviewing, and proposing mechanisms and policies to create breakthroughs in training activities in some priority technology areas of Industry 4.0.

Second, building, consolidating, and developing outstanding training centers to provide talents in some priority technology areas of Industry 4.0 in Vietnam.

Third, developing and enhancing the capacity of teaching, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship for such centers in some priority technology areas of Industry 4.0 in Vietnam.

Fourth, promoting international cooperation and integration in training in some priority technology areas of Industry 4.0.
