Three sign cooperative agreement that will accelerate Vietnam’s green transport transition and contribute to the country’s goals.

VinFast, Cake by VPBank, and Viettel Digital Services (VDS) recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at optimizing resources, technology, and the strengths of each party.
Under the agreement, customers of Viettel Money will receive support from Cake, VPBank’s digital bank, on accessing installment loans to purchase VinFast electric motorcycles at preferential interest rates. The entire application process and approval is conducted online in just a few minutes, without the need to visit a bank branch.
The cooperation between Cake, VinFast, and Viettel Money aims to promote access to digital financial services, eliminating barriers and making financial transactions safe and simple for everyone in Vietnam. It will also contribute to boosting trends in green living and promoting the use of electric vehicles (EVs), which are odorless, produce no engine noise, promote user health, and are environmentally friendly.
“Integrating the installment service for electric motorcycle purchases between Cake, VinFast, and Viettel is aimed at building a close cooperative relationship within the Vietnamese business community,” said Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang, CEO of Cake by VPBank. “We are committed to providing comprehensive digital financial services, ensuring that our customers can enjoy superior and modern financial solutions at the most optimal cost.”
“The strategic cooperation agreement with Viettel Money and Cake will help VinFast customers proactively plan suitable financial solutions based on individual conditions and needs,” said Ms. Ho Thanh Huong, General Director of VinFast Vietnam Market. “The company is also committed to providing high-quality, safe, durable, and user-friendly products, which are a new factor in changing user travel habits, aiming for a sustainable future for all Vietnamese citizens.”
“The cooperation between Viettel Money, Cake by VPBank, and VinFast not only brings great value to the ecosystem’s customers but also contributes to the trend of green living and popularizing the use of electric vehicles,” said Mr. Le Van Dai, CEO of Viettel Digital Services. “Through this comprehensive cooperation, Viettel Money demonstrates its determination to develop superior digital financial solutions for customers, staying ahead of technology trends to align with the times and contribute to achieving national financial strategy goals.”
The electric motorcycle market in particular and clean energy vehicles in general are showing major development potential in Vietnam, following the government’s target of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, electric motorcycle sales have increased by 30-35% in recent years, making Vietnam the largest market in ASEAN and the second-largest in the world, after China.
The cooperative agreement between VinFast, Viettel Money, and Cake by VPBank will further accelerate the green transition and make a practical contribution to Vietnam’s common goals.
