The second Startup Innovation Festival of Vinh Phuc Province in 2024 (Techfest Vinh Phuc 2024), themed “Vinh Phuc - Pioneering Innovation, Aspiring to Renew,” is taking place from December 21-22, the Government News reported.

The festival features three main activities: the opening ceremony of Techfest Vinh Phuc 2024, a scientific seminar on the topic “Innovation - Connecting Businesses,” and various response activities, including startup consulting, investment connections, and youth engagement with startup ideas.

With over 80 booths showcasing startup projects and technological products in fields such as agriculture, healthcare, education, and OCOP products, the event offers startups an opportunity to promote their ideas, access resources, and build networking connections.

In his opening speech, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong affirmed that Vinh Phuc is focusing on building mechanisms and policies to attract resources to strongly promote innovation and startups.

The province aims to facilitate the commercialization of scientific research products, enhance cooperation, expand links, emphasize research transfer, and apply new technologies.

Additionally, mechanisms for task assignment and resource attraction for innovation will be gradually established, alongside effective management and utilization of the provincial science and technology support fund.

The province will prioritize attracting and developing high-tech electronics industries, positioning Vinh Phuc as a center for the electronics industry in Vietnam. Efforts will continue to implement digital transformation programs, attract investment in advanced industries, and foster international cooperation to develop the knowledge economy.
