Since the beginning of this year, northern Bac Giang province has established four new industrial parks (IPs): My Thai, Nghia Hung (Lang Giang district), Dong Phuc (Bac Giang City), and Song Mai-Nghia Trung, which spans both Bac Giang City and Viet Yen town.

Cumulatively, there have been 16 IPs in Bac Giang province, covering a total planned area of approximately 3,400 ha, according to a report from Radio  the Voice of Vietnam.

The  development creates favorable conditions for the province to secure land reserves, attract investment for industrial growth, and promote economic advancement in the coming years.

Among the new IPs, My Thai IP in Lang Giang district has recently received investment approval for its infrastructure development project, with Viet Uc Steel Joint Stock Company being recognized as the investor.

This IP covers nearly 160 ha and involves an investment capital estimated at over VND1.798 trillion (over $70.7 million).
