Central Thanh Hoa province's industrial production sees strong growth
Among the 18 key industrial products, 13 demonstrated significant growth.

North-central Thanh Hoa province’s industrial production saw positive signs in February, according to information from provincial authorities.
In January, the province's Index of Industrial Production (IIP) experienced a 5.51% decrease compared to the previous month, but increased by 11.59% compared to the same period last year.
However, February brought a resurgence, with the province's IIP soaring by 32.07% compared to the same period last year.
Among the 18 key industrial products, 13 demonstrated significant growth. Notable increases included sports shoes (up 66.8%), ready-made clothing (41%), refined sugar (22.4%), and bricks (13%). Overall, the first two months of 2025 saw an 18.9% increase in the province’s IIP compared to the same period in 2024.
Looking ahead, the Thanh Hoa Department of Industry and Trade has set a target of a 15% increase in the IIP for 2025, aligning with the average annual growth rate from 2021 to the present.
