The Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has directed relevant departments to consider and continue implementing the previously delayed Dao Ngoc eco-resort and accommodation project at the Nghi Son Economic Zone. The project has an area of more than 20 ha, including a hotel, a restaurant, a bar, a golf course, a tennis court, and a swimming pool, with total investment of more than VND1.6 trillion ($70 million).

Northern Thanh Hoa province is seeing a strong investment wave from home and abroad, including super projects such as Vinhomes Star City on 147 ha and Sun Grand Boulevard on 1,260 ha, among others. Leading industrial groups around the world, such as Millennium Energy from the US, AVG Capital Partners from Russia, and Foxconn from Taiwan (China), have selected the province as a destination for their investment.

According to a draft government Resolution on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of northern Thanh Hoa province, the locality is to become a new growth pole of the region and the country as a whole.
