Deputy PM calls for acceleration of Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway project

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh has called on relevant agencies and investors to take measures to accelerate the construction of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway between the south-central region and the central highlands while recently inspecting the construction site.

The 117.5 km link is designed to have four lanes, with total investment estimated at nearly VND22 trillion ($872 million).

Construction began in June 2023.

As of October 30, site clearance stood at over 99 per cent and construction had fulfilled over 26 per cent of the contract value.

As planned, some 20 km of the expressway in Khanh Hoa province and 48 km in Dak Lak province, where Buon Ma Thuot is the provincial capital, was expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
