Dong Nai targets wood export revenue of $2 bln in 2025
The southern province ranking second in Vietnam in annual wood export value.

The wood sector of southern Dong Nai province targets export revenue of $2 billion in 2025.
Dong Nai ranks first in the southeastern region in terms of the number of wood processing enterprises, which stands at some 1,000, accounting for 30% of the region’s total.
Of which, there are over 200 medium- and large-scale enterprises, including 50 FDI firms.
The province posts an annual wood and wood product export growth of 12-14%, ranking the second in the country in terms of annual export value, accounting for 38% of the total.
The province has recently issued a master plan on developing the multi-purpose value of the forest ecosystem, which set a goal of achieving $2.8 billion in export turnover of wood and wood products by 2030.
Last year, Vietnam earned nearly $16.3 billion from exports of wood and wood products, up 20.3% year-on-year. Of the total, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces contributed over $9.32 billion.
