Electronic invoice system comes into being

At a ceremony to announce the nationwide electronic invoice system, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that its development to form a smart tax service ecosystem is one of four pillars in the digital financial ecosystem. The General Department of Taxation has set a roadmap that, by May 31, 90 per cent of businesses, economic organizations, business households, and business individuals will be using e-invoices, with 100 per cent to be doing so by July 1.
