The "Make in Vietnam" Digital Technology Product Award 2024 was launched in Hanoi on August 22 by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

The award is aimed at honoring outstanding digital technological products of domestic enterprises which have been applied in daily life to create a fresh momentum for the country’s continued economic growth, enhance national competitive advantages, and increase labor productivity, according to Mr. Bui Hoang Phuong, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications.

These products also bring about additional value for people and businesses in the process of digital transformation and digital economic development in multiple fields, he said,  while addressing the launching ceremony.

The award is also considered an important activity to promote trade, investment and consumption of “Make in Vietnam” technological products, services and solutions, he said.

This year’s award has added the category of emerging digital technologies in a bid to seek outstanding products in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), big data, Internet of Things (IoT), and semiconductors.

The winning digital products will then be nominated to participate in national and international competitions and receive support in investment and trade promotion activities in both domestic and foreign markets.

Interested enterprises are required to submit their application for the award from August 22 to October 22 at https://giaithuong.makeinvietnam.mic.gov.vn.
