Fuel supply enough for last months of 2024 : MoIT

Enough fuel will be supplied  for consumption and production and business until the end of the year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) has confirmed.

Total amount of production and import of various types of gasoline is expected to reach 10.2 million cu m per ton in the last four months of the year, while fuel consumption is estimated at over 8 million cu m per ton.

The two refinery factories of Vietnam will produce about some 6.6 million cu m per ton of gasoline, while about 3.6 million cu m per ton of gasoline will be imported in the period.

In the first eight months of the year, total gasoline production and import reached 19.6 million cu m per ton, of which, local production accounted for 58%.

Total fuel consumption in the Jan-August period was estimated at 18 million cu m per ton.
