Ha Long welcomes Italian cruise with 3,000 foreign tourists
Ha Long is expected to welcome 60-70 cruise ships this year with 70,000 tourists aboard.
The Italian-flagged Costa Serena brought almost 3,000 foreign tourists and over 1,000 crew members to Ha Long city in northern Quang Ninh province on September 30, the Vietnam News Agency has reported.
During their stay, they are set to explore Ha Long Bay as well as the city’s downtown area and tourist attractions.
The cruise is scheduled to depart at 6 pm on the same day, and return for more visits on October 14, October 18, November 4, and November 8.

Since the early year, the city hosted many luxurious cruise ships from popular brands like Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Azamara and Mein Schiff 5 with thousands of tourists aboard, mainly from the US, Canada, the UK and Australia.
