Hai Duong signs MoU with South Korean companies on industrial - urban - service park project
Northern province committed to creating the most favorable conditions possible for investors during project implementation.
The Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee met with South Korea’s SMCity and Orgel Vietnam Company Limited on January 10 to promote an initiative in surveying, researching, and planning an industrial - urban - service park project in the province.
This is the first time South Korean companies have proposed investing in the field.
Mr. Trieu The Hung, Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee, and representatives from SMCity and Orgel Vietnam signed an MoU at a meeting on developing the project.
Mr. Hung pledged to create the most favorable conditions possible for investors to quickly complete the necessary procedures and to promptly remove any and all difficulties and obstacles in the process of surveying and researching, and expressed a hope that implementation will begin shortly.
Representatives from SMCity and Orgel Vietnam said they wish to develop the most modern industrial - urban - service park under international standards, with the main focus being to protect the environment.
Mr. Kang Bong Jun, Director of SMCity, and Mr. Kim Joung Ju, General Director of Orgel Vietnam, expressed a belief in the province’s business environment. The two are committed to speeding up research and surveys and implementing the project professionally.
They are surveying an investment location on more than 300 ha in Tu Ky district, adjacent to Hai Duong city.
