Hai Phong to host Trade Promotion Month in December

Northern Hai Phong city plans to organize a Trade Promotion Month from December 2 to 31, according to the municipal Department of Industry and Trade.

The event is aimed at stabilizing the market during the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, stimulating demand to promote production and trade, curbing inflation, and fulfilling the city’s socio-economic development targets in 2024.

Some 700 to 1,000 enterprises, organizations, and individuals are expected to take part in the program, providing diverse, quality products at attractive prices.

Hai Phong posted total retail sales of consumer goods and services of over VND154.2 trillion ($6 billion) in the first ten months of this year, up 14.05 per cent compared to the same period last year.
