HCM City approves detailed plan for Can Gio marine tourism-urban complex
The $9 billion project aiming to create a modern marine tourism hub featuring smart city infrastructure, high-tech services, housing, and hotels.
The Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee has approved a detailed plan for the Can Gio marine tourism-urban complex project which will include four main subdivisions.
The project, covering an area of 2,870 ha in Can Gio district, has an estimated total investment capital of nearly $9 billion.
It aims to create a modern marine tourism hub featuring smart city infrastructure, high-tech services, housing, and hotels.
The four main subdivisions consist of subdivision A which will be an ecological residential area with tourism services in the gateway of the Can Gio marine tourism-urban area, subdivision B which will develop resort tourism, public-urban service works, and technical infrastructure centers, subdivision C which is planned as a modern urban, port, office, commercial-service and financial center, and subdivision D which will include high-end resorts, a commercial center, and a modern urban area.
