Hai Phong to auction land plot for urban area construction

The People’s Committee of northern Hai Phong port city has decided to auction a land plot in Do Son district to choose an investor for a projected urban and trade services center at Do Son Tourism Site.

The land plot covers an area of nearly 20ha.

Total investment capital for the project was estimated at over VND3.11 trillion ($119 million), including more than VND917 billion ($35 million) worth of land auction.

As planned, over 5.29ha of land will be used for housing development, including construction of low-rise buildings, high-rise commercial houses and social houses.

Meanwhile, 1.93ha will be used for commercial services and over 2.2ha designated for tree growing and park development.
