The Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Department of Planning and Investment has made public a list of construction projects in need of investors.
Projects include an education complex in Zone E of the An Van Duong urban area in the city of Hue with total investment estimated at VND433.6 billion ($18.2 million). Located in Thuy Thanh commune, the 86,845 sq m is expected to educate nearly 5,000 students from primary to high school as well as college and vocational school levels.
The An Van Duong urban area was approved by the Provincial People’s Committee in 2005 and covers an area of 1,700 ha, straddling Phu Vang district, Huong Thuy district, and the city of Hue.
Investors are also being sought for two other projects with total investment of some VND300 billion ($12.6 million), excluding site clearance costs.
Investment is needed for the development of technical infrastructure at the Dien Loc industrial cluster, on 27.62 ha in Phong Dien district. Infrastructure consists of areas for factory construction, waste water treatment, services, warehousing, management, and traffic works, among others.
The other project is to develop the La new-style rural residential area in Loc Binh commune in Phu Loc district, totaling about 2.54 ha. The project is expected to build housing and improve transport networks and technical infrastructure in the commune.
