MoIT sets goals for digital transformation
Goals to promote the implementation of digital transformation program and develop e-government.
The Communist Party of Vietnam’s Designated Representation at the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) has issued Resolution No. 33-NQ/BCSD directing the implementation of the ministry’s Digital Transformation Program in the 2022-2025 Period and setting goals promoting the implementation of the program and developing e-government.
The first goal is to form information technology data infrastructure, including a tech database to provide information for the ministry’s management and administration work. The second is to complete MoIT’s information and reporting system, to link with the government’s information reporting system under the provisions of Decree No. 09/2019/ND-CP.
The third goal is to develop integrated systems that connect the Local Government Service Platform (LGSP) with the National Data Exchange Platform (NDXP). The fourth is to complete the Public Service Portal to ensure the adequate provision of public services. The fifth is to complete all common online public services at Levels 3 and 4. The sixth is to complete all online public services in exports and imports. The seventh is to ensure that 80 per cent of dossiers on online public services at Levels 3 and 4 are completed and 80 per cent of administrative procedures meet the requirements of Level 4 online public services.
The eighth is to develop a plan and implement MoIT’s open data publication, to connect and share data according to the roadmap required in Decree No. 47/2020/ND-CP. And the ninth is to deploy solutions to monitor safety and network security and ensure information systems safety under technical standards and regulations.
In order to achieve these goals, MoIT proposed five groups of tasks and key solutions, including improving the legal environment, promoting technical infrastructure development, developing platform systems, applications and data, ensuring information security, and improving human resources.
