Nghe An accelerates site clearance for Vietnam-Singapore IP
The 750-ha industrial park has so far attracted 55 projects from secondary investors with a total registered investment capital of over VND2.06 billion.
Authorities of central Nghe An province has asked relevant departments, agencies and investors to take measures to remove obstacles in site clearance for the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) project.
The 750-ha industrial park was established in 2015 and has so far attracted 55 projects from secondary investors with a total registered investment capital of over VND2.06 billion, including 34 FDI projects worth more than $1.976 billion.
The park’s occupancy rate has reached around 97%.
However, site clearance for the IP has yet been completed. So far, more than 681 ha of land have been cleared. The local authorities required local relevant agencies to complete site clearance for the remaining area before January 15, 2025, with the exception of an area of over 61.5ha, which is required to keep unchanged.
