Nghe An's FDI attraction estimated at $1.7 bln in 2024

Central Nghe An province’s FDI attraction in 2024 is estimated at nearly $1.7 billion, a record high so far, according to the provincial People’s Committee.

With this result, Nghe An ranks among the top ten localities in FDI attraction for three consecutive years.

Nghe An has attracted many major hi-tech groups, including Foxconn, Luxshare, Goertek, Everwin and Juteng, who have invested over $1.3 billion in the province.

The FDI capital brings the total amount of investment capital lured by the province in 2024 to over VND61.48 trillion ($2.4 billion).

The province also recorded significant growth in other economic indicators. Its GRDP is estimated to rise 9.01%, ranking the 13th among 63 provinces and centrally-run  cities of the country. Total export revenue is expected to reach $3.7 billion.
