Online Friday to shine spotlight on Vietnamese products
Massive livestream shopping event among the high points of this year’s online shopping season.
Vietnam’s National E-commerce Week and Online Friday 2024 will take place at Hanoi’s Cultural Friendship Palace from November 25 to December 1.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency said a massive livestream shopping event will be the highlight of this year’s online shopping season.
Ten livestream booths will be set up in close collaboration with leading e-commerce platforms such as TikTok Shop and Sendo.
Four of these will represent major product categories and reputable brands on e-commerce platforms, while six will showcase products from the six different regions in Vietnam, collaborating with provincial Departments of Industry and Trade to promote regional specialties.
Viewers can not only explore the varied cultural features of different regions but also experience shopping for high-quality Vietnamese products.
Another highlight of Online Friday 2024 will be an experiential space for Vietnamese products, with high-quality products to feature attractive deals and promotions.
A representative from the Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency said Online Friday 2024 is not only the largest online shopping event of the year but also demonstrates the solid progress made by Vietnamese goods in the e-commerce era.
Through creative experiential and interactive activities, local businesses will not only attract the attention of domestic consumers but also aim to conquer global markets, affirming the quality and position of Vietnamese products internationally.
