PM chairs policy dialouge with businesses
The dialouge held within the framework of the fifth Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum on September 25.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a dialogue with domestic and foreign experts and leaders of major groups within the framework of the fifth Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum on September 25.
PM Chinh stressed the need for economic transformation and application of the fourth industrial revolution, particularly in the industrial sector.
The Government has focused on building and perfecting institutions, devising mechanisms and policies to mobilize resources for infrastructure development, especially digital, transport, climate-resilient, and social infrastructure, he said.
He spoke highly of HCM City’s contributions to national development, and shared participants’ view on the need for comprehensive industrial transformation in the southern metropolis, aiming to build a civilized, modern city.
He instructed the city to build and perfect institutions, develop harmonious and modern infrastructure, focus on training high-quality human resources, implement smart governance, and mobilize resources through enhanced public-private partnership.
PM Chinh required HCM City to develop infrastructure, enhance support for businesses and investors and continue to improving the investment and business environment.
