Eight working groups are established to deal with difficulties facing economic development.

Under Decision No. 1544/QD-TTg, signed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on July 16, eight working groups has been established to help ministries and localities to tackle difficulties and obstacles in production and business activities, export and import,  infrastructure construction, and public investment capital disbursement.

The move is aimed at achieving the economic growth target of over 8% in 2025, thus laying a foundation for double-digit expansion in the following years.

The Prime Minister leads the first group which is in charge of tasks relating to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta’s Can Tho city.

The other 7 groups, each of which is headed by a Deputy Prime Minister, are in charge of tasks relating to ministries, central agencies and other cities and provinces nationwide.

The groups are tasked to review and analyze difficulties and obstacles and propose solutions, and make monthly report to the Government.

They will also assess the implementation of solutions to promote economic growth for 2025 and the following years.
