Quang Ngai licenses three giant projects

The Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee granted investment licenses to a number of new projects on December 24.

They include the construction of the Coastal Quang Ngai eco-urban area on 94 ha in the central province’s Tu Nghia district, with total investment capital of over VND7.1 trillion ($295 million).

Another is the construction of the German-invested Messer - Quang Ngai industrial gas production factory at the Dung Quat Economic Zone with total capital of $133.28 million.

The Committee also granted an investment license to a project building Bau Giang urban area, with capital of VND3.3 trillion ($138 million).

The Dung Quat Economic Zone and industrial parks in Quang Ngai province have 250 projects in operation, generating employment for 67,300 workers.

Quang Ngai targets GRDP growth of 7.25-8.25 per cent annually by 2030.
