Recognizing the burgeoning influence of e-commerce, northern Quang Ninh province is proactively guiding producers and businesses to engage with various e-commerce platforms, both domestic and cross-border.
The locality has set ambitious targets for 2025, aiming for 55% of its population to engage in online shopping and ensuring that 50% of supermarkets, shopping centers, distribution facilities, households, and individuals adopt cashless payment methods.
Consumer spending is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 15%. Concurrently, 80% of businesses in the province will have their own websites, enabling them to receive and process orders electronically.
Additionally, 90% of transactions conducted on websites and e-commerce applications will be accompanied by electronic invoices.
Quang Ninh also plans to annually support 10 entities, including enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities, in developing comprehensive sales management, business management, marketing, logistics software, and integrating e-commerce payment card solutions into their websites.
Furthermore, the province is investing in constructing intelligent supply chain models and leveraging big data to predict market trends for key agricultural products.
