Quang Tri to develop coastal urban area towards green growth

The People’s Committee of central Quang Tri province has approved a plan to develop a coastal urban area towards green growth and climate change adaptation in Dong Ha city.

Total investment capital is estimated at over VND1.15 trillion ($45 million). Of which, VND919 billion ($36.1 million) will be sourced from the French Development Agency (AFD) loan.

Under the plan, infrastructure system will be completed to ensure green growth and climate change adaptation for the urban area, creating a sustainable living environment for residents.

The plan also aims to upgrade infrastructure for residential areas of low-income earners, improve wastewater treatment, complete transport system and increase access to urban services.
