Site clearance for sub-project of Bien Hoa-Vung Tau expressway completed

Site clearance for the construction of Sub-project No. 3 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway has been basically completed, according to the project’s investor.

The investor, the Transport Project Management Board of Cai Mep-Thi Vai Area, told authorities of southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province at their recent meeting on the implementation of the project.

Construction of the 19.5-km expressway section, which passes through Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, requires 137.52 ha of land.

The sub-project has total investment capital of over VND4.96 trillion ($202 million).

The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway connects Ba Ria-Vung Tau to neighboring Dong Nai province and has a total length of nearly 54 km, including three sub-projects. Total investment is estimated at VND18 trillion ($735 million).
