SK Logistics creates joint venture with Lineage

Lineage Logistics, a leading provider of temperature-controlled industrial REIT and integrated solutions, has recently announced the partial closure of a joint venture (JV) with SK Logistics, a cold-storage warehouse operator based in Hanoi. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

According to Ms. Brooke Miller, Lineage’s Asia Pacific President, this cooperation with SK Logistics presents a significant opportunity to deliver top-tier cold storage solutions in the Asia-Pacific region while partnering with a successful family-owned business. The partnership aims to support diverse customers, including supermarket chains providing food for families.

Ms. Miller said that expanding Lineage’s footprint in Asia-Pacific through Vietnam as a significant economic contributor in the region continues to be a long-term strategic goal. “Vietnam is an important market for Lineage, and partnering with a reliable and proven operator like SK Logistics helps us continue delivering excellence in supply chain solutions in the region,” she added.

The two cold storage warehouses operated by SK Logistics cover almost 400,000 square feet and notably boost Lineage’s capacity in northern Vietnam. These facilities offer a comprehensive suite of services, including storage, distribution, and handling processes for key regional customers.

With assets and supply chain solutions spanning the north and south of the country, Lineage now operates facilities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
