South Korean group to build $200mln data center in Thai Nguyen
ThePRECON Ltd., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with local authorities to invest in the project.

ThePRECON Ltd., of South Korea will build a data center in northern Thai Nguyen province with an investment capital of around $200 million.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the investment cooperation was signed between thePRECON, the KCTC Vietnam Ltd., and the provincial Department of Science and Technology on June 19.
Under the MoU, Korean businesses will design and operate the data center in line with international standards. The data center has a designed capacity of 20MW.
The project is expected to help boost economic and technological cooperation between Thai Nguyen and Korean partners in the coming time.
Addressing the signing ceremony, the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Trinh Viet Hung said the province gives priority to attracting investment in the fields of high technology and digital infrastructure.
The province will create best conditions for investors in terms of administrative procedures and land funds to implement their projects, he said.
