The Vietnam Association of Science and Technology Enterprises (VST) requires solutions to develop science and technology enterprises and build a database on such enterprises, to be able to understand their situation and so provide support and promote effective development, according to Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung.

Speaking at the Vietnam - Japan cooperation seminar on technology innovation, digital transformation, and supply chain diversification on May 1, Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, who visited Vietnam from April 30 to May 1, said that Vietnam holds an increasingly important position in the global supply chain. Out of a total of 92 projects to diversify supply chains supported by Japan in ASEAN, Vietnam ranks first with 39 projects. He also emphasized that the possibility of cooperation between Vietnam and Japan is unlimited.

Microsoft has announced the creation of the Startups Founders Hub digital platform, to help startups in Asia, including in Vietnam, realize their ambitions along their startup journey. The platform gives startups free access to necessary technologies, tools, and resources, with over $300,000 worth of benefits.

Only some 42 per cent of Vietnamese enterprises apply human resource (HR) management technology, as most are only willing to outlay the investment if they beleive it is useful.
