Telecommunications services revenue reaches $2.67 bln in H1
Telecommunications infrastructure continued to be expanded and upgraded.

Revenue from telecommunications services reached over VND70.4 trillion ($2.67 billion) in the first six months of 2025, increasing 1.2% compared to the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Science and Technology.
During the period, telecommunications infrastructure continued to be expanded and upgraded, resulting in a significant increase in the rate of digital services usage, the ministry has reported.
The number of internet users in Vietnam rose 7.75% year-on-year by the end of June, to 84.15% of the population.
The number of households using fiber optic cable reached 85.1%, up 3.09% year-on-year.
There were nearly 104.74 million mobile broadband subscriptions, surging 13.37% year-on-year, while over 105.1 million mobile phone subscriptions are linked to smartphones, up 4.35%.
The whole country currently has 41 data centers.
