Thanh Hoa aims to clear 2,590 ha for development in 2025
The plan outlines the clearance of land for 686 projects including 529 public investment projects.
The People's Committee of central Thanh Hoa province has unveiled a plan for land clearance to facilitate investment projects in 2025.
The plan outlines the clearance of land for 686 projects, encompassing a total area of over 2,590 ha. This includes 529 public investment projects, covering nearly 1,485 ha, and 157 enterprise investment projects, spanning over 1,105 ha.
The People's Committee has mandated that all projects meeting the necessary conditions must have their land clearance progress committed to by the respective People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities, in collaboration with project investors. These commitments should clearly define the responsibilities of all parties involved, including progress, funding, and implementation coordination.
The province aims to achieve 100% land clearance for projects listed in the plan and strives to complete land clearance for any additional projects that arise in 2025.
The Thanh Hoa Department of Natural Resources and Environment reported that the province successfully completed land clearance of over 2,297 ha in 2024, achieving 102% of the year's target.
Public investment projects cleared over 1,008 ha, representing 94.2% of the plan, while enterprise investment projects cleared 1,288.6 ha, surpassing the plan by 111.1%, a 16.9% increase from 2023.
