Thanh Hoa approves planning for new IP

The People’s Committee of central Thanh Hoa province has approved the planning for construction of the Industrial Park (IP) No.15 at Nghi Son Economic Zone.

The project will cover over 721 ha.

It is designed as a multi-sector IP, with priority given to mechanical and manufacturing industries; agricultural, forestry, and fishery processing; and renewable energy industry.

The IP is expected to attract around 18,600 workers.

The IP is divided into two main zones. The Zone A will accommodate Thanh Hoa Solar Power Plant No.1 with an area of 229.18 ha. The Zone B will be Dong Vang IP, covering an area of nearly 492 ha.

The establishment of the IP is aimed at attracting investment and meeting investors’ demand for connection between IPs and other functional areas at Nghi Son Economic Zone and surrounding areas.
