Thanh Hoa posts tourism revenue of $315 mln in July

Central Thanh Hoa province registered a positive economic growth in July with many economic sectors posting high growth, particularly tourism.

The province welcomed more than 3.1 million tourists last month, surging 37.1% year-on-year. Of which, 138,400 were foreign visitors.

Tourism revenue was estimated to reach over VND8 trillion ($315 million), up 63.7%.

The index of industrial production (IIP) grew 18.4% compared to the same period last year.

Total retail sales of consumer goods and services reached more than VND17.1 trillion ($673 million), up 17% year-on-year.

The province gained export revenue of $548.7 million, soaring 17.2%.
