Thua Thien - Hue province approves golf resort development plan
The project will include two main functional areas: a golf resort and recreational area, and a supporting services area.
Thua Thien - Hue province has approved the development plan for a golf resort and supporting services in Dien Hoa commune, Phong Dien district.
The project is expected to cover approximately 270 ha, bordering the sea on one side and a production forest on the other.
The project will include two main functional areas: a golf resort and recreational area, and a supporting services area. The golf course will be developed to international standards, catering to both domestic and international tournaments.
The project aims to become a high-end golf resort and tourism destination, offering a range of services for both residents and visitors. Supporting facilities will include cultural areas, healthcare facilities, hotels, resorts, a golf academy, and a golf club.
As planned, Thua Thien - Hue province is set to become a centrally-run city by 2025. As the northern gateway of the province, Phong Dien district is slated to become a township and one of the key urban areas by 2030, with a vision extending to 2045.
The district has significant potential for tourism and resort development due to its coastal location, proximity to National Highway 1A and the North-South railway line.
Previously, the province had approved a plan for the construction of a 45 ha ecotourism area in the district.
