VIB celebrates knowledge and culture through National Book Awards and cultural initiatives
Vietnam International Bank has not only excelled in financial services in its 27 years but has also actively invested in numerous meaningful cultural and social programs.

The 6th National Book Awards, held on December 29 by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, the Vietnam Publishers Association, and Vietnam Television, and with support from Vietnam International Bank (VIB), honored 41 works in various fields.
These works demonstrated creativity, humanism, and rigorous scientific research, contributing significant scientific, social, and practical value across five categories: Politics and Economics; Social Sciences and Humanities; Natural Sciences and Technology; Culture, Literature, and Art; and Children’s Literature. The goal was to spread the value of knowledge and the cultural beauty of Vietnam. VIB actively participated in various social and cultural activities to contribute to this mission.
“Through multiple seasons, the National Book Awards have significantly impacted the community, making substantial contributions professionally and receiving high praise from the public,” Mr. Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said at the awards ceremony. “We honor the authors, translators, and those involved in publishing, as this is a celebration of reading culture.”
“The National Book Awards not only recognize outstanding works but also serve as a powerful catalyst for society to focus on a reading culture, creating an environment that promotes creativity and learning,” Mr. Han Ngoc Vu, CEO of VIB, said regarding the bank’s cooperation with the National Book Awards. “Sharing the belief that a reading culture is a crucial bridge between knowledge and personal and societal development, we are proud to partner with the National Book Awards to honor knowledge and reading culture, jointly promoting a sophisticated, modern lifestyle and bringing sustainable value to community development.”
During its more than 27 years, VIB not only excels in financial services but also actively invests in numerous meaningful cultural and social programs. Beyond the partnership with the National Book Awards, it also engages in initiatives that celebrate knowledge, creativity, and the cultural identity of the nation, contributing to the sustainable development of the Vietnamese community. Notably, VIB supports Vietnam Young Lions, a major creative competition, representing Vietnam internationally. Additionally, VIB cooperates with programs like Let’s Feast Vietnam, a Netflix reality show promoting Vietnamese culture globally in 2023.
