Vietnam Airlines welcomes 350 millionth passenger
The event marking the national flag carrier's 30th anniversary.

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines welcomed its 350 millionth passenger on a flight from the capital city of Hanoi to central Hue city on July 9.
The welcome ceremony took place at Phu Bai International Airport in Hue. This event is among the highlights of Vietnam Airlines’ 30th anniversary activities.
Over the past three decades, Vietnam Airlines has operated 1.2 million round-trip flights, and serving 350 million passengers with an average annual growth of 19%.
The airline has also transported 4.7 million tons of cargo and expanded its global network to over 1,000 destinations via the SkyTeam alliance.
On this occasion, Vietnam Airlines, in collaboration with the Hue city People's Committee, the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism and the city Department of Tourism, launched a promotional program titled “Magical Hue Night – Discover to Love,” offering domestic and international visitors arriving on night flights to Hue special incentives.
