Vietnam Expo 2022 officially opens

Vietnam Expo 2022, with the theme “Step together in a digitized world” and organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and other ministries, cities and provinces, and trade promotion institutions, opened on April 13.

The exhibition will see enterprises and buyers come face-to-face via 380 display booths representing 15 countries and territories in four main categories: Vietnam Value and Exports, Machinery - Supporting Industries, Digital Solutions & E-commerce, and Food & Beverages.

“Vietnam Expo is well-known as a prestigious commercial playground for Vietnamese enterprises to introduce their products and explore trade opportunities,” said Mr. Gijae Seong, Head of Amazon Global Selling Vietnam. “This will also be a great chance for Amazon Global Selling Vietnam to reach out and boost cross-border e-commerce for enterprises eager to penetrate into the global market.”

Vietnam Expo 2022 has given a special welcome to South Korean representatives and sees the participation of Korea Trade Promotion and Investment in Hanoi (KOTRA) for the 23rd year. Belarus is also a special guest.

According to Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, over the course of its 30 years, Vietnam Expo has become one of the most important and largest trade promotion activities for Vietnam’s industry and trade. It has also brought economic value and practical opportunities to help local enterprises boost exports, develop the domestic market, and contribute to the implementation of the government’s commitment to international economic integration.
