Vietnam Post unveils e-commerce platform to promote high-quality agricultural products
The platform will gradually expand to international markets such as China, South Korea, Japan, and many other countries.
The Vietnam Post Corporation (Vietnam Post) has officially launched the e-commerce platform nongsan.buudien.vn - the first specialized e-commerce platform for high-quality agricultural products in Vietnam, with Vietnam Post as the owner of the technology and operations.
Mr. Tran Minh Tuan, Director of the Department of Digital Economy and Digital Society under the Ministry of Information and Communications, emphasized that in the context of global digital transformation, the agricultural sector is facing many challenges but at the same time, it opens up great opportunities for further development.
According to Mr. Tuan, building an e-commerce platform specifically for agricultural products is a practical solution to digital agriculture development.
The e-commerce platform dedicated to agricultural products aims at sustainable consumption of agricultural products, directly connecting producers and consumers, contributing to reducing the risk of product congestion.
At the same time, through traceability and quality assurance, Vietnamese agricultural products can increase value, thus gaining trust not only from the domestic market but also from international markets. In particular, this trading platform supports farmers in accessing digital tools, increasing income, and improving their lives.
Not limited to the domestic market, the e-commerce platform will gradually expand to international markets such as China, South Korea, Japan, and many other countries.
