VINASA establishes 8 committees on digital transformation

The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) has decided to establish eight specialized committees on digital transformation in businesses, to bolster the process around Vietnam.

The Business Digital Transformation Committee will promote digital transformation at businesses via training programs, while the Digital Government Development Committee will provide training, consultation, updated information, and ideas for policy development.

The Smart City Committee will gather together experts and businesses and provide updated information to accelerate the implementation of smart city projects in urban areas. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Development Committee will conduct training and AI research in Vietnam.

The Startup Investment and Development Committee, meanwhile, will focus on activities relating to networking, training, mentoring, and investment for startups. The International Cooperation Committee will be responsible for maintaining VINASA’s role in international organizations such as WITSA, ASOCIO, and APICTA, as well as in cooperating with organizations in international markets.

The Policy Committee is responsible for researching and advising on policies and laws for member enterprises and government agencies at the central and local levels. And the Community Development Committee will focus on VINASA’s development activities, thereby connecting with communities, businesses, and technology application organizations.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of VINASA, the establishment of the eight committees is not only expected to create professionalism and methodical work processes within the association’s strategies, but also expresses the determination of its young leaders in regard to digital transformation.
