Virtual booth introduced to sell Vietnamese products in China
Initiative employs livestreaming and brief video broadcasts to help Vietnamese suppliers sell directly to Chinese consumers.
A virtual booth selling Vietnamese agricultural products on e-commerce platforms and social networks in China was launched on November 20.
The launch was held as part of the Vietnam - China Business Exchange, held in Hanoi.
This initiative employs livestreaming and brief video broadcasts to adhere to the “product-seeking buyers” model, helping Vietnamese suppliers sell products directly to Chinese consumers.
The virtual booth was built and is being operated by China’s Sunwah Group under a cooperative agreement signed between the company and the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in June, 2023.
Vietnam exported $44.4 billion worth of products to China in the first three quarters of this year, up 2.94 per cent compared to the same period last year.
