99% of site clearance finished for Sub-project 3 of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway

Site clearance for the construction of Sub-project No. 3 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway stands at nearly 99 per cent and land is expected to be handed over to investors in the first quarter of this year.

Construction of the 19.5-km expressway section, which passes through southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, requires 137.52 ha of land and will affect 1,215 households.

It has total investment capital of over VND4.96 trillion ($202 million).

Some 70 per cent of the sub-project is expected to be completed this year and construction is scheduled to wrap up by September 2025, or three months earlier than initially planned.

The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway connects Ba Ria-Vung Tau with neighboring Dong Nai province and has a total length of nearly 54 km, including three sub-projects. Investment is estimated at VND18 trillion ($735 million).
