Ba Ria - Vung Tau attracts $4 bln of investment capital in 5M
Some 37 FDI projects contribute $1.25 billion.

Southern Ba Ria – Vung Tau province attracted nearly $4 billion of investment capital in the first five months of 2025, according to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
Of the total, 37 FDI projects contributed around $1.25 billion, and the remainder (nearly VND71.5 trillion or $2.72 billion) belongs to 36 domestic investment projects.
Over the past 30 years, Ba Ria – Vung Tau has attracted over 1,200 projects with a total investment capital of $54 billion, including 503 FDI projects from 30 countries and territories with a combined registered capital of some $35 billion.
To attract more investors, the province has actively improved investment and business environment, creating conditions for investors and enterprises to expand production and trade.
At the provincial conference on investment promotion held in late May this year, the provincial authorities granted investment certificates and investment licenses for 53 projects, including 26 FDI projects.
