Bac Giang develops 414ha golf course and urban area complex

Authorities of northern Bac Giang province have given the green light to a project building a golf course and urban area complex in Yen The district.

It will cover 414 ha in Tien Thang and Tam Tien communes with an estimated population of 1,000-1,500.

The project will invest in building houses, entertainment areas and roads.

Bac Giang Province targets to develop 12 golf courses by 2030. Most of the golf courses will be located near economic and tourism areas.

Local authorities said golf courses have generated hundreds of jobs for local workers while contributed to increase investment attraction.

Last year, the province attracted over $3 billion of FDI capital, an increase of more than 2-fold compared with its annual target.
