Dong Nai province records trade surplus of $3.23 bln in 5M
Export value hitting over $10.8 billion.

Southern Dong Nai province recorded total trade revenue of $18.39 billion in the first five months of the year, according to the provincial Statistics Office.
Of the total, export value was estimated at $10.81 billion, increasing 16.37% year-on-year, while import turnover reached $7.58 billion, up 14.24%.
As a result, the province posted a trade surplus of $3.23 billion in the five-month period, ranking first in the country.
The export growth is attributed to the increase of export orders and export prices of some key products, according to the office. Many local businesses have received orders for exports through the second quarter of 2025.
Key export markets include the US, Japan, China and the Republic of Korea.
Dong Nai was among the list of top ten localities of the country in terms of export value for ten consecutive years from 2014 to 2024.
In the five-month period, the province also posted positive growth in industrial production with the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) rising 9.32% year-on-year.
