Hanoi plans new 324 ha clean industrial park in Soc Son
It also aims to transform Soc Son district into an industrial center capable of regional and international integration.
The Hanoi People's Committee has issued Decision No. 45/QD-UBND, approving the planning task for the construction of the Soc Son Clean Industrial Park.
The projected clean industrial park will span approximately 323.9 ha, located in Minh Tri and Tan Dan communes, Soc Son district.
The planning aims to concretize several key development frameworks, including the national planning for the development of industrial parks in Vietnam; the master planning for the construction of Hanoi Capital until 2030, with a vision toward 2050, as approved by the Prime Minister; the guidelines for the adjustment of the general planning of the capital until 2045, with a vision toward 2065; the general construction planning for Soc Son district; the project to establish 02 - 05 new industrial parks for the period 2021 – 2025; and the investment policy for the investment project to build the technical infrastructure of the Soc Son Clean Industrial Park, approved by the Prime Minister.
The planning's objectives include the establishment of a clean industrial park to create job opportunities for local residents and surrounding areas, thereby reducing employment pressures and boosting the regional economy.
It also aims to transform Soc Son district into an industrial center capable of regional and international integration, attract investment from both domestic and foreign businesses, enhance competitiveness, and contribute to the economic development of the country and the region.
