HCM City to host first international technology expo in July

Over 300 domestic and international technology firms are expected to attend the first-ever international technology exposition (iTech Expo) 2024, scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City between July 10-12.

The event will feature 500 booths of businesses from Vietnam and other countries, including  China, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the US and the UK, according to the organizing board at a press conference on May 20.

Themed "New tech for new era", the expo aims to explore leading technology trends to promote digital transformation and global scientific, technological and engineering development.

On display will be innovative technologies and modern products, solutions and applications in various fields such as 5G, AI, Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain and high-tech agriculture.

Along with displaying and introducing technology products, the event will have 12 specialized seminars, 50 in-depth technology reports, 1,000 trade connections, and 30 cooperation and technology transfer signings
